These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Space 65 Cleveland LLC, our venue, services, website, and all bookings conducted through www.Space65CLE.com. By booking an event, accessing our website, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully.

1. Event Booking & Payments
A. Booking Confirmation

Your event date is not reserved until:

    1. A deposit or full payment is made, and
    2. A rental agreement is signed.

Space 65 Cleveland LLC may release a date if payment or agreement is not completed by required deadlines.

B. Deposits

Most rentals require a deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing.

C. Payment Methods

We accept:

    • Credit/debit cards
    • Cash (in person)
    • Approved electronic payment platforms

All card payments are processed securely by third-party processors.

D. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance must be paid by the due date outlined in your rental agreement.
Failure to pay may result in cancellation.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations
A. Client Cancellations

If you cancel your event:

    • Deposits are non-refundable
    • Rescheduling is allowed based on venue availability
    • A rescheduling fee may apply depending on the notice period
B. Venue-Initiated Cancellations

Space 65 Cleveland LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to:

    • Safety concerns
    • Power outages
    • Unforeseen facility issues
    • Failure to follow rules or payment terms

If the venue cancels for reasons unrelated to client misconduct, payments may be refunded or applied to a new date.

3. Event Rules & Responsibilities
A. Conduct

All clients, guests, and vendors must behave respectfully and follow all venue rules.
We reserve the right to remove anyone engaging in:

    • Violence or threats
    • Destruction of property
    • Illegal activity
    • Disorderly behavior
B. Damage & Liability

Clients are financially responsible for:

    • Damage to walls, floors, tables, chairs, décor, restrooms, kitchen, or equipment
    • Excessive cleaning beyond the normal post-event process
    • Violations of fire safety or occupancy rules

Damage fees will be billed to the client.

C. Decorations & Setup

The following are not allowed unless approved:

    • Confetti/glitter
    • Open flames
    • Wall tape that removes paint
    • Smoke machines
    • Haze/fog machines

Please ask for clarification before bringing materials.

D. Alcohol

All alcohol use must comply with Ohio state laws.

Options:

    • BYOB (if allowed during your booking)
    • Licensed bartenders for controlled service

Illegal alcohol distribution is prohibited.

E. Security

Certain events may require security personnel depending on guest count or event type.
We will notify you during the booking process if security is required.

4. Vendors & Third-Party Services
A. Approved Vendors

Outside vendors (caterers, DJs, decorators, photographers, etc.) are allowed but must:

    • Provide contact information
    • Follow venue rules
    • Carry their own equipment and liability responsibilities
B. Liability for Vendors

Space 65 Cleveland LLC is not responsible for:

    • Vendor actions
    • Vendor performance
    • Vendor cancellations or disputes

All vendor contracts are between you and the vendor directly.

5. Website Use & Online Services

By using www.Space65CLE.com, you agree that you will not:

    • Interfere with website functionality
    • Attempt unauthorized access to backend systems
    • Upload harmful software or content
    • Use the site for fraudulent or illegal activity

All website content—including branding, photos, and text—is the property of Space 65 Cleveland LLC.

6. Photography & Media
A. Venue Photography

Photos or videos taken by Space 65 staff may be used for:

    • Marketing
    • Website content
    • Social media
      Only with your consent.
B. Guest Photography

Guests may take photos or videos unless restricted by the event host.

C. Third-Party Photographers

Any media captured by hired photographers belongs to the photographer or hiring party, not Space 65 Cleveland LLC.

7. Limitation of Liability

Space 65 Cleveland LLC is not responsible for:

    • Personal injury due to guest negligence
    • Lost, stolen, or damaged belongings
    • Vehicle damage in parking areas
    • Vendor actions
    • Weather or uncontrollable events

Your use of the venue is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability will not exceed the total amount paid for the event booking.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Space 65 Cleveland LLC harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

    • Misconduct by you or your guests
    • Damage to the venue
    • Violations of these Terms
    • Vendor activities
9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
The latest version will always be posted on our website.
